Jamie Manson

Jamie joined the investment team at iCON in 2017 and brings over 20 years of experience originating, executing and managing debt, mezzanine and equity investments in the infrastructure and power sectors.

Jamie previously worked at SkyPower Global, a solar developer, and Brookfield Financial where he was responsible for originating and executing M&A, debt and equity capital markets transactions and general corporate finance advisory in the infrastructure sector. Prior to Brookfield Financial, Jamie was active in the North American power sector for both Investec and GE Energy Financial Services.

Joakim Lambotte

Joakim joined iCON in 2017 from the infrastructure team at DC Advisory, London. He brings experience in both M&A and debt advisory work. Joakim holds an MSc in Management (Imperial College London) and an MSc in Business Law (University of Geneva).

Tim Vesterberg

Tim joined iCON in 2017 from the Power & Utilities M&A team at Citigroup. He has been involved in renewables, district heating, electricity and gas distribution transactions across Europe. He holds a BSc in Finance & Accounting (Stockholm School of Economics).

Thibault Jarlegant

Thibault joined iCON in 2013, coming from Citigroup where he spent 4 years in the Leveraged Finance team with a focus on corporate and LBO financings in European and US high-yield and leveraged loan markets. Thibault holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering (INSA Lyon) and a MSc in European Business Management (ESCP Europe Business School).

Sarah Johnson

Sarah joined iCON in 2016 to focus on asset management with over 15 years of operational and strategic experience in energy and utilities.

Before iCON, she held several roles at Centrica plc including strategy, M&A and post-merger integration. Previously, she worked for PWC in the UK and Italy, primarily covering valuations and strategy consulting the energy sector. She started her career at Fortum Oyj, helping to set up an energy supply business and manage UK power generation assets.

Rory Hunter

Rory has worked for iCON since 2013 and transferred to our North American team in 2017. He has played significant roles in our investment, debt financing and asset management activities.

Before joining iCON, Rory worked in the Infrastructure and Transport lead advisory team at EY. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and holds a MEng in Aerospace Engineering (University of Bath).

Rishi Pabari

Rishi has been with the iCON Team since 2008. He heads up Investor Relations and is also responsible for rail-related investments.

Since joining iCON, Rishi has been involved in all aspects of investment across the transportation and energy sectors, including origination, acquisition, asset management and divestment. In that time he has been responsible for over €4 billion of completed financings. His previous background was in debt finance and hedging, in which he arranged and managed over €5 billion of credit facilities at Deutsche Bank and Dresdner Bank.

Peter Moore

Peter is a Partner principally focused on the origination, execution and management of investments in gas infrastructure assets. He was responsible for iCON’s investments in Mountaineer Gas, firmus energy and Gasnätet Stockholm.

Peter has been part of the iCON Team for over a decade. He has been involved in all aspects of establishing and developing the business, including the formation of several of our funds. He has 15 years’ experience in corporate financing and infrastructure. During his career, he has played a key role in transactions with an aggregate enterprise value in excess of €15 billion. Prior to joining the iCON team at Deutsche Bank in 2006, Peter had trained and practised as a lawyer at a leading corporate firm in London.

Paul Gill

Paul joined our North American investment team in 2017. He has a wide range of experience in pursuing and managing infrastructure assets across North America and Europe. He previous role was in the investment team at Capstone Infrastructure Corporation.

Neil Keogh

Neil joined iCON in 2016 from the Business and Investor Advisory team at Arup, where he focused on transactions in the transport and utilities sectors. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) and holds a BSc in Architectural Science (University College Dublin) and an MSc in Architecture (University College London).

Mirco Lother

Mirco came to iCON in 2015 from a Zurich-based fund advisor that specialised in renewable energy and green infrastructure. He brings experience in wind, solar and CHP transactions. Mirco also holds an MSc in Economics (Universities of Bern and Copenhagen).

Michael Smerdon

Michael has led our North American activities since 2017 and is an observer of the Investment Committee.

Prior to that he was CFO of Capstone Infrastructure Corporation. He has two decades of experience in the infrastructure sector, primarily in Canada and the US. This includes principal investing, project financing, corporate financing, project development and financial advisory work across all major infrastructure sub-sectors.

Kristoff Torfs

Kristoff joined iCON in 2016 to focus on asset management.

He brings over 17 years of operational and strategic experience in logistics and ports. He joined us from Terminal Investment Limited, operator of major container terminals where he was responsible for a global portfolio of terminals. Previously was Terminal Manager at MSC Home Terminal (MPET) in Antwerp, one of Europe’s largest container terminals.

Joel Adaah

Joel joined iCON in 2016, having previously spent 2 years in Goldman Sachs’ Pan-European Equity Sales team. He holds a BSc in Accounting & Finance (London School of Economics).

Jeremy Smith

Jeremy joined iCON in 2012 and has played a significant role in the origination and execution of transactions for European and North American assets across a wide range of sectors, in particular district heating, as well as the debt financing, asset management and realisation of our investments.

Formerly a solicitor with Weil Gotshal & Manges, London, he spent over 6 years’ working on private equity as well domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and portfolio company management.

Ivana Semeraro

Ivana joined iCON in 2013 bringing over 15 years of corporate finance and investment experience.

She works on a range of investment opportunities in the energy and transportation sectors in Europe. Before joining us, Ivana was an Investment Manager for EEA Fund Management with responsibility for leading renewable energy investments across Europe. Previous roles included covering origination, risk assessment, execution and management of energy investments and debt facilities for Deutsche Bank and General Electric. Prior to this, she started her career as an M&A corporate finance advisor for Citigroup and EY.

Indradoot Dhar

Indradoot re-joined iCON in 2017 to focus on asset management and risk management.

He originally joined iCON in 2006 as part of the Deutsche Bank graduate class, working on investments across all infrastructure sectors, with a particular focus on the origination and management of assets in Southern Europe. From 2013 to 2017 Indradoot worked at Cambridge Associates where he advised pension and sovereign wealth funds on infrastructure and real asset allocations.

Gary Eade

Gary joined iCON in 2013 and focuses on investments in the energy sector.

Gary has over 20 years’ experience in both conventional and renewable power generation. He started his career with 13 years in multiple management roles in the Energy Division at General Electric. He then spent time at General Energy Financial Services. More recently he has worked as Head of Energy for EEA Fund Management and as a technical director in Deutsche Bank’s principal investment team.

Enis Moran

Enis joined the iCON Team in 2008 and has over 9 years of principal investment experience.

In that time he has held leadership roles in investments, debt financing, asset management and exits across a range of infrastructure sectors. His work spans operating, development and construction stage projects. Before iCON, Enis worked in Deutsche Bank’s asset-backed credit team in New York.

David Luson

David has worked for iCON since February 2015.

Previously David was an M&A lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills, mainly acting for private equity sponsors. He has experience in domestic and cross-border M&A in many sectors from infrastructure and energy to TMT and real estate. This experience spans acquisitions, disposals, management buy-outs and restructurings. He spent 9 months on secondment as in-house counsel to an infrastructure fund before joining iCON.

Daniel Savage

Daniel has worked in asset management for iCON since March 2017. He started with the group as Financial Controller in 2013 before making the transition.

Daniel previously worked for KPMG and specialised in international banking clients within the financial services team. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and holds a BSc (Loughborough University).

Conor Kelly

Conor joined iCON in 2013 from the Infrastructure Team at Macquarie Capital, London, where he focused on power and utilities M&A. He holds an MSc in Finance (University College Dublin).

Aine O’Connor

Aine joined iCON in 2017, having previously worked as a lawyer in the banking and finance group at Fasken Martineau, Toronto. She specialised in infrastructure. She holds both a Bachelors in Business and Law (University College Dublin) and an LLM with a Business Law concentration (University of Toronto).
